Awesome Give Away!

I was on Craigslist today and came across an ad... There is a guy named "Mr. Woody" and he makes the wooden cut outs for the stacked crosses that I make! I am going to check and see if his prices are better than what I get at First Monday... Anyway, here is the link to the giveaway! This lady's blog is pretty cool too... She does crafty stuff like me :)

Things are looking up!

I have sold a lot of the junk that I had... wanting to sell more! I had a lady ask me if I would be interested in setting up a booth at her shop... I would LOVE to but I am so afraid that the price per month for the booth would exceed the amount that I would actually make.  :(  Oh well... I will keep doing what I'm doing and maybe one day I can get enough income to open a booth.

On the brighter side-- The Pow Wow is coming up soon! I have made over 100 bottle cap necklaces! YAY! I need to get to work on my crosses... its soo hard to paint with all these kids everywhere! I pray I do good at the Pow Wow or my husband is going to kill me! LOL I am so thankful he is so supportive of my adventures.

Making Sales!! :)

I made my first sale!! I sold a desk to a photographer!! I saw her pic and it is sooo cute. It was a great idea for her to use it for 'back to school' pics. I also sold all 3 of my overhead projectors! I love FB! I'm wanting to start selling on Ebay or etsy but I am nervous about getting into that. It would be awesome to find an antique store that I can rent a booth from... the ones I have found are so expensive that I would have to raise the prices of everything just to cover the cost of the booth! No wonder everything in those places are so high! I will figure something out I'm sure. I may just use my FB page that I set up for Thrift Shop Junkie and go from there. :)

I'm not weird... I promise ;)

Closing Old School

I came across an old school that was closing. Its sad to see but I know they have upgraded and are moving into a new school. I love the history of old buildings and old furnishings. I guess I'm just an old soul. So I decided to save some history... as much as I could afford, anyway!! I am selling all that my hubby won't let me keep. I hope someone else loves these remnants of history as much as I do!!

Black desk with wooden top. Non adjustable legs. 26" to top of desk. $20

Blue desk/seat combo. Steel and wood. Top has blue/white "linen" design. Cubbyhole on left side for books. $30

Green one piece desk/seat combo. Top is wooden. Has cubbyhole on left side for books. $30

70s model over head projector. Works! The cord looks cracked, may need to be replaced. $15
80s model overhead projector. Works great! It is missing the screw that holds the lid shut but it does NOT affect its performance.
Newer model overhead projector. Works great!!
Small childrens chairs. I have 3 sizes, 14", 15", and 16". $10 each.
